I love Hod.

In fairness he and Redknapp were going at it about strengthening the squad, Hoddle saying but big and Redknapp saying what "big" signing would come to the club to sit on the bench?

All good stuff!

This summers transfer window is crucial - new stadium or not we cannot afford to take the foot off the pedal as the two sides from the top six that miss out will spend and Everton under Koeman with money to spend will continue to improve.

Personally I don't think wholesale changes would be good - however I would sell Sissoko for as much as possible (Can't see anymore than 20m coming in for him) and go all out and sign Ross Barkley. His contract is coming up and Everton have confirmed they will sell him if he doesn't sign a new deal.

He isn't to replace Ali or Eriksen, however when Sissoko has come on it was to offer strength, speed and direct play - all of which Barkley can bring... and more.

Secondly - whilst I would keep Janssen as despite not settling into the Premiership as hoped - he is an honest, hardworking striker who does bring others into the game and will improve. He will always be useful in cup games etc and give a chance to rest either Kane or hopefully Andrea Belotti - who should be Spurs' other target.

I think you could almost swap Sissoko for Barkley - which would mean the cost of Belotti would be the transfer spend (this could be offset by the sale of Lamela worst case scenario).

That would result in some squad at Tottenham next year!

I don't think we need much. Zaha is the obvious one, and a replacement for Wimmer if he leaves, but other than that we only really need a better back up for Kane.

Don't think anyone will be in for Lamela after a season out and surgery. No problem though as I'd be happy to keep him. I'd be happy to replace Sissoko with Zaha though since he seems to be high up Poch's list.
