At the very least two knocks tonight.

Kane calf and Rose looked like he pulled/twinged a hammy or got cramp.

Hopefully they will be OK for the weekend.

Thought Kane was holding his ankle there for a min

I thought Kane went down to buy some time and allow Poch to get messages to several players.

Yeah. Think he felt a bit of a knock, and then used it to our advantage.

Physio gave the thumbs up and he played on, so nothing serious.

Fully expect hlm to start on Sunday.

Rose won't play at the weekend. The only way Rose plays is if he uses Davies at CB or if Davies is injured

It's a shame because Rose offers way more than Davies.

It's also a shame that Davies, who has been excellent for a very long time, gets treated like shit by some fans.

Even when rose was at his best - which is the best we have - he was rotated with Davies.

Danny did us proud against Chelsea. Let's support Davies should he be given the nod by the manager to do the job against United hey?

Excellent is such a stretch.

So how would you rate him?

The season we finished 2nd he had to play every match after Rose got injured, bar the semi final v Chelsea. That 2nd half was down to every player giving 100%, if we hadn’t had a bad period when Kane and Toby where out we would of pipped Chelsea.

He doesn’t have the pace of Rose, but can defend as good, and his final delivery just about pips Rose. He might not be world class but excellent can be in the frame bar a few performances, just like any player has bad days

I’d rate him “good”.

All relative. But I’d say Kane, Eriksen and Son have been “excellent”, as have Toby and Vertonghen when they’ve played.

Sissoko of late has been “very good” as were Moura and Lamela earlier in the season.

I think he's a very average player. I mean how many LBs in the prem alone would be preferred? Mendy, Rose, Robertson, Alonso, Chilwell, Kolasinac, and Luke Shaw.

Davies is an acceptable backup, the issue is that Rose is always hurt so he starts most games. If he is our starter most games, as he has been, we should be looking to upgrade.

I also think if you ranked every player in that starting lineup in 16/17 he would probably be the worst of the bunch.

in the 16/17 season we had our best ever PL defensive record, his worst games like everyone else that season was in the CL. He played a massive part. Yes 2 seasons later he hasn’t been as good as some of those you mentioned but when we keep clean sheets it’s due to all our defenders being excellent, if 1 of them was shit/average teams would target that
