Dele seems to be the only first team player who hasn't had a spell out.

missed the first month of the season with a hamstring injury. I know people are saying this season has been a joke on the injury front but honestly it’s just a continuation from last season where it seemed like we had at least 2 key players missing for significant chunks of the season.

If we were a cricket team we would just declare now. Toby and Jan CF partnership?

This is exactly what happened to Dortmund in Klopp's last season (and probably the one after he left). There's a reason he's dialled back his "heavy metal football" over the last couple of years, with Liverpool improving as a result.

So our depleted front line is now looking like

Dele
Lucas
Perma-crocked Lamela
18 year old Troy Parrott

Triffic

Next up would 18 year old Kion Etete.

Unless we get radical and try a front three of Sess, Toby and Aurier....which would crazy enough to at least be funny even if it didn’t work.

Can we recall Jack Clarke from QPR? I don’t think he’s been playing that much but at this rate he might get a game for us lol

Yes, it started in 2018, got horrible in 2019. World class facilities and record breaking injury list...

I remember back a couple of seasons too when there was a tweet going round of a table showing we had players out for the most amount of minutes in the league. We’ve always had injuries but this year is just a joke. And not a funny one.

It's not the ground, but the training regime and play style. Train twice as hard and work twice as much in games as everyone else - then you wear down twice as much as well. Players that joined us at 23 and spent 5 years here, should be at their peak as 28 year olds, but has the body of a 33 year old. Doing things that way will need a lot of transfer activities in and out to keep going. Mostly young players needed.

I know it’s not exactly good circumstances but this Coronavirus means we could do get some ‘positives’ re injuries, hopefully the guys are back for more games than they thought

Can't see us playing again this season, but yeah hopefully means the injured players are back for our next game, and our unfit players ( yeah I really mean ndombele) get their fitness sorted by then also.
