He will do good for a club like Hull or Stoke where skillful, sophisticated football isnt a must lol, he's all heart and i love that about him but he makes to many mistakes and isnt quick enough for us. I hope he does well for who ever he ends up with.

Where on earth did they get £3m from!!??!!. Lurking in the background ready to awing into action is a certain Mr D Levy!. £5m is the best Hull could wish for. Will miss Daws on the away days at Stoke etc. When you really need to roll your sleeves up and dig in against a team of goons hes your man but a high line against teams with pace is carnage.

At thirty Dawson is still worth a few bob to sell. He's hardly got the pace to defend the high lone that Poch will be implementing so i'd sell if the offer was good enough.

Not in my first choice 11 but personally I'd keep him and be more willing to let Kaboul go as he looks half the player he was 3 seasons ago. I'd offer him and benny to qpr for remy in fact!!

Harry, where are you?......

3M is a joke were better off keeping him around the squad. The starting fee for it to make sense is 7.5M imo as it will prob cost at thd very least that to cover that experience/quality.

I wouldn't think it's worth to keep him, you don't have your captain not even on the subs bench. Great servant to the club but Poch's style will not suit him - let him choose the best club regardless of the money, that way we would be showing our gratitude.
Hope to get Caulker back which wouldn't entail any "get to know your team" period. Yes Kaboul wasn't looking good but don't be quick to condemn a great CB.. give him time after so much time out injured.

So we're still judging a previously proven and dedicated servant to the club off the back of a season where everyone bar two or three looked like they would more suit a div 1 side, in a formation that played to none of their strengths.

Yes, he's slower than he was, yes, he makes the odd mistake but no more so than Kaboul or Chiriches have in the same period.

Play him deeper, give him a solid companion back there and i think he's still got a year or two more in him.

Probably a good move all round but we definitely need some leadership on the pitch. Who thought we'd miss Scott Parker with all the flash players we signed in the summer. I don't think Dawson was a particularly good Captain but he would throw himself under a bus for the club. How do we replace that?
