Apologies if already posted, but was handed a leaflet at Oxford Street tube station this morning, which basically reads:

VICTORIA LINE: Due to vital track work to increase capacity, there will be major changes to Victoria line services between 8 August and 30 August 2015. There will be no service between Seven Sisters and Walthamstow Central and a reduced service on the rest of the line. This will result in some crowding on the Victoria line and some other parts of the TfL network at the busiest times.

So if you're like me and prefer to go to Tottenham Hale for a cheap pint at the Volunteer, or you get the Victoria Line from further north... well... you can't!

It says the whole victoria line has a reduced service. I presume that means I'm gonna have trouble getting from Victoria to Seven Sisters on Saturday?

Coming into Waterloo via the train? I'd say still get off at Vauxhall, and get Victoria up to Seven Sisters, just leave home earlier to allow time.
Reckon it'll just be busier than normal then?

Going to the Everton game, plenty of time to drink/train as it's the late kick off!

Yeah. I'm going this Saturday so am just expecting more tourists getting on and off in between. Will prob leave an hour earlier than usual.

Not sure how the Stoke fans will get there (do they still allow horse and carts down the High road?)

No doubt they could have done this in June but decided to wait until the season just to piss off the Spurs fans again.
