1. My original post was about sterling, not Kane, as I tried to clarify in my last post.
2. 'Perceived value' is not what you said. You said outright sterling was a better investment than bale.
3. Even if you meant perceived value you're wrong. As I said, in the summer sterling was perceived at being worth 49m. In the summer Bale was (and still is) perceived as being worth more than that. It is hardly likely that bale's value has plummetted since then, or that sterling's has rocketed, so putting sterling above bale is ridiculous, as I said.
4. Same goes for sterling and Aguero.
Is Sterling's value in pounds sterling?

1. Lionel Messi (Barcelona) - £185million

2. Neymar (Barcelona) - £113m

3. Eden Hazard (Chelsea) - £96m

4. Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid) - £84m

5. Harry Kane (Tottenham) - £67m

It is said endlessly, but it never ceases to amuse me: if someone showed me that list 1.5 years ago, I would've had them sectioned. It seemed genuinely, legitimately, impossible.

The notion that Harry Kane would be more valuable than Gareth Bale? Insane.

Eden Hazard is on the move, I bet Chelsea dont get £96 million for him.

He's been wonderful. When he went on loan to Norwich and couldn't get in their team I wondered if we'd end up selling him to a championship club - how times have changed!!
