Reading that it doesn’t sound like he wants to go anywhere any time soon which is fantastic.

Lots of positive noise coming from Kane over the last month or so- let's hope he and Conte are here next season

Lets face it, it was two months+ before Kane got his head back in the game for us this season.
So having him at it from the start next season is already a massive boost (he would've pushed Son for Golden boot for sure if he'd started the season without Sky tapping him up)

Is this you talking, or Sky?

that was me messing about because I thought the gap to Jimmy was huge, but he could actually break it next season. I'm stunned.

OK, he needs to break ALL Jimmy's record not just overall total, that should keep H here for another 4-5 years.

I was very much ready for us to burn everything down let him and anybody else who wanted to go leave but I’m over the moon things have turned around the way they have.

He (currently 183) needs 5 league goals next season to go 3rd highest prem scorer ever (Cole 187) and 26 to go ahead of Rooney (208) and become the 2nd highest ever.

Personally I think Shearer's record (260) won't be broken. He needs 4 seasons of 20 goals to get there or 5 of 16 goals. He's 29 before the start of the next season.

Probably because he realizes he has no viable move:

But, I am glad to see him stay. He is fully committed to winning here, and no matter how the season started, Kane was at his best down the stretch. We need him, and his leadership if we are going to challenge for a title/trophy next season.

In early February, Harry Kane's representatives called Man City and asked if they'd be keen on signing a striker. They responded with no as they had eyes on Haaland.

So a YES then, they were keen on signing a striker

I presume that was his brother who contacted them? Probably handed over to them a folded up piece of paper saying "Do you like Harry? Yes or no?" like at school.

Depends on how long he plays and injuries. Can't see him moving to a different league.

If he stays fit he could easily play until 35, dropping deeper more.

Does "Kane's representatives" still = Charlie Kane? If so, I can't see him ever successfully negotiating a transfer.

This will be unpopular~ sell at that price IF Conte says so. That would give us a massive amount to spend.
I know it's unpopular﹉We could get many others in for that amount or Harry sign a new very long contract cause we won't get much next summer
