His confidence is high at the moment, and he's starting to believe in his abilities. Young kid with perhaps a bright future. Early days though.

Remarkable turnaround for a player many were writing off at the ripe old age of 20.

Has been given a chance (whereas no-one had given him that opportunity and belief before) and is taking it. For all his perceived faults, mainly his inability to handle the media, Tim deserves credit for bringing on the young players like Kane and Bentaleb through, and for getting some level of consistency out of Naughton.

To be honest his last few performances have turned my head as well. I really thought that he was too slow for this league. What is apparent is that he is making better decisions with the ball and getting used to playing alongside Ade. Secondly he's not trying to make every ball he plays an absolute must now that he is getting a run in the team.

I will give Sherwood credit where it's due for playing Fryers, Kane and Bentaleb in the first team over the past few months as well as giving Chadli and extended run. All are playing well at this moment in time.
