Unfortunately just that picture alone shows you how difficult he finds it to move. Look how high Holtby and Capoue's legs are compared to his.

I really wish he had a little bit more mobility because he's at a low ebb right now and he could recover, but his body (I feel) just isnt allowing him to at the very peak he aspires to.

What an utterly bizarre comment. Have you never even considered the fact it might be timing?? What if you took a pic of me with my thigh in the air and Usain Bolt standing still?

Oh and "he's at a low ebb right now"..... do tell what that is based on. Share your insight please.

Its a still frame picture for gods sake! A split second later Daws knee if it was on the up would be higher than the others whose might be on the down. Why am I writing this!

Am I alone in thinking Dawson & Naughton where amongst our top 5 players in the 2nd half of last season? I don't understand the hatred towards some of our players and the desire to get rid of them.

Of course it's timing, but look at the acceleration! If anything I'm sympathising with the guy, are you seriously telling me that he's not lost any mobility? I was just observing that within a still frame that picture encapsulated it quite well. I'm not bashing the guy, his lack of form over the last season & a half has saddened me.

Referring to that picture specifically, look at the angle of his body compared to Holtby & Capoue; his running technique and the timing of all three of them would indicate his knee should already be higher.

My low ebb comment may have been poorly worded, as it was more referring to his form, but I'm sure he's been frustrated himself with the errors he's been making although obviously he's had some good games too!

How can you possibly assess the acceleration from a still photo? I do agree that Daws is probably getting slower, but you should at least make judgements on evidence rather than vague guesses. How did he perform in the friendly matches recently, I haven't had the opportunity to watch them.

He actually played pretty well against Chicago & for the first twenty minutes yesterday.

I think you can actually get an indication of acceleration from some still photos; you just need to take into account reference points, trail lines, angles and such like.

You can get an indication of how good his running technique is, but I disagree you can get an idea of how fast he is running from the photo in the above article. So as not to be boring I won't go on anymore!
