Yea for the familiarisation event, test event, both prem games and CL game. No problems at all.

My entrance outside the stadium consists of mainly young guys and I don’t think they care, they don’t look at the card they just scan it.

It’s still a risk I suppose, so it’s probably best to reassign the ticket via your network if your prefer to be on the safe side.

Thanks for the info mate, assigned for the prem games it just doesn’t let you assign the champions league games for some reason.

I have just become a new season ticket holder in the 'senior' category. I certainly won't be able to make all home matches so how easy is it to transfer the new digital ticket to someone else who is not a member?

I think you need to transfer the ticket over to them electronically. I thought I'd read on here though that this was possible with a free membership?

Edit: Looking at this it seems they will need a CRN, not sure if they can get one of those just by registering and then be added to your network?

Thanks for that - I'll check on the OS

Yeah you just sign up on the ticketing account for free and get given a CRN. Then the ST holder has to add that member to their network. Once that's done, they can 'legit' transfer individual games to that new member CRN. Doesn't cost anything.

I am a senior but my seats are not concession prices. For Tafspur, if his price of the ticket is a concession rate, can he transfer his ticket to anyone with a CRN or does it have to be another senior?

Interestingly I could transfer my sons junior seat to an adult member for no additional cost during the last season we were actually able to attend matches. Assuming that’s still the case you should be fine to do the same with yours. It’s a nice option to have as long as people don’t abuse it. I think it’s fully justified in your situation. ??

Yes this came up before. It's open to abuse but seemingly can be done. Concessions can transfer to non-concessions.

In theory you should be able to just hand them your card and they will still get in with it.
At least, that worked for me when @Dougal couldn’t make the CL match against City.
I was shitting myself that I would get an ID check or something, but it was just a barcode scan and in.

Cards have been discontinued from this season onwards. App only. I'm a massive tech nerd but even I think this is an awful idea. They MIGHT also ID though I don't think they will in practice.

This ??. My Dad had to invest in a smart phone for this reason. Poor bloke is clueless when it comes to technology!
on the ID front I just can’t see them carrying out rigorous checks. I went to the Villa game and nobody asked to see any ID. I guess they reserve the right to ask.

Open to abuse? Methinks you've forgotten the basic ethos of this club. How much Neck Oil would your kids usually consume? And how long after the game would an adult and child normally stay, drinking even more IPA and eating the last of the food still available. I reckon Danny Boy would have no problem at all seeing all the kids seats filled by old fat alcoholics (rich ones, preferably).

I have had an official email from the club telling me that there would be no additional charge to transfer my father in laws senior ticket to a standard member next season for matches. He was not going to be able to make it to every game next season. Unfortunately he is mega ill now in hospital and will be only with us for hours/days. Suppose this will give us the chance to return the ticket to the club ?

My kids are currently in my testicles as I've yet to propose to my girlfriend. So I imagine in terms of how much booze they can drink, not very much. Good point.
