Whilst I'm 90% sure this one is nonsense, worth pointing out Rossi would count as a homegrown player. Spent 3-4 years at United before turning 21.

So if you're a player with regular injury problems the perfect team to join would be a team like us would it? He'd break in the first training session.

Pay as you play would make it somewhat viable, him using a squad place however would not. I imagine it's total BS.

Also if there were any legs in this we'd be bringing him in for a trial ASAP.

Lol. He's been training with the Red Bulls over here in the states for the last year and we (RBNY) didn't even want to sign him. He's not a premier league striker.

To be fair, Levy will like it as if it is a pay as you play deal it will literally cost us absolutely nothing..

I reckon Levy would be all over a 'pay as you play contract' for someone who's hasnt played a professional game for God knows how long ?
