It's definitely nonsense. Everyone is saying our youth should go abroad to ply their trade but why should they of it limits their appeal to English clubs in the future.
HG should be whether you are a national and then if not if you have played 3 years under 21. Seems fairer that way.

Yeah I get the technicalities of it, but it’s bollocks. The whole point of the HG regulations were to ensure British and academy players were given more playing time.
Yet someone like Fabregas is home grown and an English player isn’t.
Like a lot of rules and regulations in football it’s dumb.

Junior Firpo was at U21 Euro, ended his tournament six days before Lo Celso and he's travelling.

My sister's family is off on holiday today and my brother in law got chatting to an old guy next to him on the plane because my nephew is wearing his Spurs shirt.
So this guy said Lo Celso is with Spurs at the moment doing his medical and looks like a done deal. His daughter is part of the medical team at Spurs so gets some good info. He has been with us for a day already.
My brother in law said he was a really unassuming chap and only got chatting because of the Spurs link.
Fits in with the media at the moment too.
