This could be true but there is also a big difference in both deals.
Ndombele replaced someone that's isn't at Spurs anymore
So there isn't as much pressure on Levy is there to get this done.
Also there is the talk of Zaniolo as an a.m.
and Ceballos cover just in case and if Eriksen stayed they are both cheaper options.
So nothing is really a fixed thing is it?
There's enormous pressure on Levy to get this done even if Eriksen stays, this is who Poch wants.

I find it hard to believe we'll spend £70m on a player a lot of us (myself included) had never heard of prior to this summer. I really can't see us offering more than the eventual £63m we could pay for Ndombele and I'd imagine any deal would be made up of lots of performance based add-ons.

As much as I'd like it to be the case, I also think Eriksen will be off if we do sign Lo Celso. It's been done to death in here already, but I really don't see us spending such huge sums unless we're getting a sizeable chunk back.
Lo Celso was actually really highly rated at PSG until a certain Spanish manager decided to play him as a DM for no apparent reason

I think Levy must have known that NDombele was most important for Poch and went for it 100%.
With this one it's not the same.We have Eriksen.
If we don't get Lo Celso I don't think it would affect their relationship as the budget will talk.
Levy might go for a cheaper option.
I hope we get him but we've been in situations before where everyone including the player has been dissapointed

Literally yesterday people were complaining about our intent in the market, now we might be spending 70mil, which naturally means the world is falling apart and Eriksen is off.

Chill out ffs.

Ron, how do you know this? Theres been plenty to suggest completely the opposite, so are you just a natural pessimist?

Don't do it to yourself, your sanity is worth more than that.

We need both, it was plain to see for all last season that Eriksen needed both a break and competition. We've been told that GLC is not dependent on Eriksen, I choose to believe that that remains the case.

Same thing is happening as the Ndombele transfer. As soon as they got their replacement the sale to us went through pretty quick. Hopefully he'll sign next week so he can join the likes of Wanyama, Foyth and Aurier when they return for the fitness tests etc. Then join the rest of the squad for the Audi Cup.
