The silence is deafening. With Clarke and Ndombele there were more positive noises every couple of days it seemed. Our current limbo appears to be hinged on something happening at Madrid or at PSG or somewhere else. Are we waiting for other clubs to get their replacements in? Very frustrating waiting game, once again.

Must admit I've been relatively relaxed this window but can't get away from the fact that the window deadline has suddenly crept up, 23 days or so left and we still have a lot of business that needs to be done, I expected 2 outgoings and probably 1 more in by now ready for the tour. It's going to be an interesting 10-12 days.

I think it's got a lot to do with the fact that he's on holiday and unlike Ndombele he doesn't spend his time on his phone posting pictures of himself all over the mediterranian, also I suspect Betis aren't as noisy as Aulas when they go about their business.

In fairness he is not alone in continuously rolling this line out at least half a dozen others keep repeating the same line.

Is it unfair to think if Lo Celso was really pushing for this move he should have cut his holiday short to get it done in time to make the tour?

Maybe not that he isn't pushing for it but that if he wanted to start off on the best foot at Spurs.

Little concerned that our potential Eriksen replacement won't be getting much preseason time.
