With the heaviest Indication yet that Eriksen could leave, do you lot that know Lo Celso (I've never hard of him) see him as a like for like replacement. I've seen his youtubes compilations (why is the music always shit on those things ?) and can tell he is talented with pace and skill on the ball. But what about vision, calmness on the ball, the through ball, keeping things ticking etc that we see from Eriksen and that we had in Modric? Does he have that or would er need others to fill that role?

Like Eriksen he’s an 8/10 hybrid, but probably more so as he has a bit more steel and his passing from deep is excellent. Bernardo Silva is the best comparison I’ve seen anyone make, but he’s more of a goal threat in my opinion and has a bit more flair.

If we get him I’m convinced he’ll be an absolute hit.

And a certain Messi. Totally one-footed until few years ago I believe

Messi has always had a great right foot, better than most natural right footers, he just rarely uses it as his is the best left foot of all time (apart from Benoît Assou-Ekotto but that goes without saying).

I'd also say LoCelso is much more likely to take an opponent on with the ball at his feet. Eriksen is much more about receiving the ball and finding a pass.

the glory of having Lo Celso and NDombele in the same lineup is they can both do both.

well craig burley thinks we cant afford him, so maybe we should close the thread!

WHO?
You'd have thought those pundits who know FA about us would refrain from commenting, considering the season we've just had despite them all writing us off

But how else would he get his expenses?

Craig Burley... Heaven wept.

ESPN coverage is a complete waste of money - embarrassing
I rate this comment a winner, but the caught offside podcast is vastly better than their on-camera punditry (or web stories that regularly link to clickbait transfer stories....)

added bonus, it's hosted by a spurs fan (which is only partially offset by the other co-host being a liverpool supporter)...yes the champions league run-up and follow-on was civil :)

Oh, that’s weird, he keeps kicking it with his left foot. That’s weird because I usually use my right foot... Why doesn’t he use his right foot like me? Can’t he use it at all? Looks totally one footed.
