JJ ITK preferred to Moura, which I think is nuts but says it all as to where he will be next season.
Disappointed that Poch actually prefers Lamela to Moura. I love Poch but if there’s one complaint I have about him is that his favourites are given way too much leeway, and he’s a bit too attached to some and that has hurt the squad

Did JJ say that? I'd be surprised if that was the case

I appreciate Moura blows hot and cold but he offers us something totally different. Lamela is just too unreliable

Replace Lamela IMO - not sure Lo Celso is a direct replacement really, but for a squad place I that'd be fine. Looks a good player

Atletico Madrid have Koke, Saul, Thomas and Rodrigo in their midfield with Moya coming through the ranks. They are about to lose Griezmann, Godin and Costa. They’ll be beefing up those positions before considering a move for Lo Celso. Unless Rodrigo makes the move to City, that could spell trouble for us.

Really hope we can get one of Lo Celso or N’Dombele. They are both going to be special players.

If City get Rodrigo, makes them less likely to go for Ndombele - then it's just (possibly) Liverpool and Utd we need to worry about

A real merry go round this summer!

Where is Costa going?

Not aiming at this you but 3 weeks ago a lot of fans would have Moura sold this summer

I don't think any reasonable fan would've wanted Moura sold given that he scored 12 goals as a rotation player before the Ajax hat trick in his first (full) season with us.

How can you be disappointed when you're taking this as hear say off an internet forum. I'm pretty sure only 3/4 people will know truly what Poch thinks of the players.

Neither did I, I thought he had a good season but there was few posters who felt he could be upgraded. Were not selling Lamela to spend 100M on zaha. And we've seen what injuries have done to CM this year, one two injuries to Son and Moura we will be desperate

Would love to get both but at the quoted price, I highly doubt we will spend that much on two CM’s when we have other positions to strengthen too. But you never know, I’d be incredibly happy to get both.

i think we need both n'dombele and lo celso as winks and sissoko are the only competent CMs for us atm. if we can keep toby and eriksen i think CM and RB are the only positions that have to be strengthen. with 150m quoted since last year i think we should be able to get n'dombele, lo celso and wan bissaka

In an ideal world I'd love to have a midfield 4 of Sissoko, Winks, Lo Celso and N'Dombele with Skipp coming through the ranks, but financially speaking I can't see it happening. We would however have one of the strongest mid fields in the PL again.

The scenario you mentioned makes it a bit more realistic, so let's see how things play out during the window.

There were countless posters in the wishlist/scouting thread who wanted him sold/upgraded.. It just proves we as fickle as the next bunch of supporters.

Crazy...remember some wanted Son out after one season too.

The only position we need an "upgrade" on is RB, the rest of the squad just needs to be added too. So it's not really upgrading that's needed, it's quality squad depth.

I don't know why so many people want us to replace players when the squad is bare as it is.

We need an upgrade on Wanyama and, arguably, Lamela and even Dier.

And maybe Davies (who I actually rate) if Rose remains.

I'll get pelters for this but press talk this morning suggests that Delph could be available for £15mil, and he could do the job of Wanyama, Dier & Davies.

Laugh away, the guy is underrated.
