I guess we must be waiting for Betis to sign a replacement before concluding the deal.

Fekir would be a great signing for them but I can see him waiting it out until the end of the window with the hope that someone bigger comes in for him.

Le Parisien confirming the Marca story. They said Betis will offer him 7 million euro per season, so it could convince him to move.
The more I think about it, the more it makes sense. He only has one year left on his contract and has a dodgy knee. The chance to double his wages on a long contract would cover him financially in case of a career ending injury.
Also, id hazard a guess that there will be a reasonable release clause in his contract in case he plays well and gets the chance to move to a bigger club again

Sure. He wants to leave, a fans wants him to leave. And he could move to nice club, with very good wage and seeing that he can move to a bigger club like Lo Celso. Because i don't see any better club moving for him now. Arsenal would sell Ozil first to buy him etc

Well, what reasons make you believe otherwise?

We haven't spent for a while, we've made a fortune in recent Champions League campaigns and we've increased our revenue streams.
Plus TV money increases.
That, on top of itk info and rumours of bids we've made, lead me to the conclusion that we have plenty of money to spend and are willing to spend it.

You also have to think about Poch's comments about being backed and acting like a big club.
Levy wouldn't have rushed out to get Poch's number one target, only then then put the brakes on and decide that hes not actually going to back the best manager hes had.
No reply to this @stewartd ?
You were quick enough to get involved in the first place.
