He's not that good imo and certainly not a Poch player. Won't press and doesn't 'roll the sleeves up'. A luxury player.

What? :ROFLMAO:

Arguably the best player in the division last season, averaged 1.7 tackles per game which is top 10 for attacking players in the league and best ratio for attacking players at Ajax. Considering Ajax aren't much of a tackling team, they press and keep possesion (like Man City) that ratio is very impressive.

Never ever been a luxury player, that's nonsense, Poch would wotk some magic with him.

Not disagreeing with you as I'd never seen him play other than our games with them, in which he looked fantastic. It does beg the question why no one has signed him. 26 mil is pocket change to most clubs in this day and age. Maybe wages.

Dunno I find that really strange, I think Bayern are in for him though.

Whenever I've seen him play he's worked very hard and tackled and pressed very effectively. Somebody on here described him as 'Mahrez who tackles' or something like that, which I thought was very apt. 26m is an absolute steal IMO.

Either way, Levy generally doesn't put clauses in and if he did he would have set it much higher, that clause would have been insisted by Toby and his agent, It's rare that Levy takes a cut price or market value deal on a player he's trying to sell...
That's precisely why he wasn’t doing that. His intention was to be very Levyish about the whole affair. Why do you think he went bald? He realised he should have set the clause at 60 million.

That isn't what I watched during the season matches last year. Champions League games Ziyech was a beast though. Funny in the way you describe him you'd think the whole of Europe would be in for him, but they're not. It's definitely not wages because he wouldn't be on much at Ajax. There's something else about the player that clubs don't seem too keen on and in my opinion, it's his attitude. I saw him fade in many Eredivise games last season. He has all the skills but does miss a fair few chances..which is why I label him a luxury player.

I heard Bayern chasing Steven Bergwijn.

I don't know what you watched but it's pretty impossible to be a luxury player if you're registering the highest amount of tackles for his team, Ajax can't afford luxiry players - they all work as a unit - luxury players would never last in that team, even in the games against us he worked like a dog and wouldn't leave our defenders alone particularly in the 2nd leg.

Watch:

It is strange though that no one seems to have take a chance on him.

I thought he was fantastic in Champions League but I didn't see same performance in Eredivisie games last season. I did watch quite a bit because I always had a bit of money on Ajax.

Just goes to show I wouldn't be the best football Scout lol.

This is not my opinion as I've never seen a French league game, but same could be said about N'Dombele from what I've read. Amazing in Champs League but so so in the league, unless their playing PSG.

Lookman to Leipzig is a strange one for £22.5m, he's only 21 and home-grown so I'm surprised no-one in the Prem is in for him at that price, still a promising young player and thought he'd do well at Everton.

He would have cost more had he gone to a Prem team, same as Trippier.

Announced with a terrible video of their players being twats in their third kit. Declan Rice dancing, so embarrassing.

Good signing though, potentially.

Haven't seen the video, but certainly sounds standard West Ham.

Seen very little of Haller but his numbers certainly suggest he's got plenty of potential to succeed in the prem.

The player they signed I really like, and am intrigued to see how he fares is Pablo Fornals, think he'll look an absolute steal if, if he can replicate his form in la Liga.

Very few goals or assists, but he's usually the man recycling and setting the tempo.
Lovely passer of the ball, and loves a tackle.

They announced him on their twitter feed as "Prolific French striker" as if he's fucking Thierry Henry or something.

It's no secret that GSB basically want West Ham to be Arsenal.

What they didn't bank on was Arsenal suddenly deciding they wanted to be West Ham.
