Can't imagine this guy coming in after Lucas Moura. Think its just papers/websites regurgitating old information and articles about speedy wingers probably get more interest than holding midfielders and fullbacks.

If we bring in another player behind Kane which I would guess means selling Lamela I would prefer a pass first player rather than dribble and cross/shoot type of player.

If we do adopt a three at the back system, it’ll be interesting to see what we do in the attacking midfield department. With space for perhaps just two AMs (behind Kane), we are already well stocked with Eriksen, Dele, Lucas, Lamela and Son.

As much as I like the look of Martins, in Lucas and Son we already have two pacey wingers. Perhaps having a suitable backup for Eriksen should be our priority? Madisson at Norwich looks interesting in this regard.

Looks like the type of player that Chelsea would sign for £40m and then proceed to do well for them for the next 6 years

I would be incredibly disappointed if the sold Lamela and brought in Madisson as a replacement.

I would say they are the most similar in style in our current set-up. Might be a tweaking of tactics for next season - looking for pace against a higher line, or just causing terror amongst cloggers on the edge of the box?

Doesn’t he have a circa £70m release clause? Given Portuguese clubs seem hell bent on sticking to their guns surely this is a non starter?

He different to Moura!

I personally would love him

Haven't seen a lot of him but what I have is based on his quick, mazy dribbling style. What would he bring that we don't have? Similar argument for Zaha?

I personally think we need alternatives. We have become almost predictable with our outlet Son for example. He brings different to Moura. Imagine both of them in certain games? He is very tricky, and exceptionally very quick. Powerful also.

Or we could just play Son and Lucas on the outside with Eriksen in the middle. We have several combinations of these players that we haven't used yet. I would prefer the resources would be put in another area. If we have no outgoings I actually think winger is one of the only positions we don't need to address.

We need players like him! Crikey! Eriksen needs alternatives also.

I just don't see how you get 6 players behind Kane all enough playing time to keep them happy. Especially if as the ITK have mentioned that Poch wants to play 3atb more often.
