Did you read that? It ends with "Gareth Bale can speak and does speak Spanish, but he prefers not to do it in public. " So...?
So hes uncomfortable and doesnt want to speak it beacuase hes command of it isnt good enough. He wont want to go through that gain in China.

Im probably wrong but I cant see Bale going to China
He couldnt learn Spanish in over six years so has got no chance of learning Chinese
In Spain or England there are great golf courses they are few and far between in China and who would he play with?In Spain he could ship his mates and family over n two hours to spend the weekend with hima nd his kids cant do that in China
Massive climate and diet differences gets freezing cold in winter.
Not a great environment to bring up young children
The difference between 600000 and 1 million a week after tax is not the be all and end all as he doesnt need the money anyway.
Would be far better to stick two fingers up at ZZ and tell him that he will sit on his bum until RM compensate him to make it worth his while to join a club of his choice which I suspect will be in England .

I totally agree with everything you said,... TBh ⚽️?? #COYS

The rumours now though are that Jiangsu Suning want to buy him & then subsequently loan him for a couple of seasons to Inter (same owners), to get around FFP regulations
Right... £1m a week to go on loan to Inter. Yeah, that makes sense. o_O

This sounds just unethical enough to be totally believable in the modern world of football.

Unfortunately I think it's far more likely the swap deal is for Pogba.

I reckon United need cash - not Bale - to fund the Maguire transfer (which I really can't get my head around). And they will still be stuck with Sanchez, who's already on Bale-type money.

There's a 100% tax on foreign player transfers going into Chinese Premier League.
You have to assume Madrid are looking for £75+ million for him, so any Chinese club will actually fork out £150 million, plus his wages.
Is that really sustainable in that league?

Chinese FA also introduced new regulations that would cut down on over-paid foreign players being signed:
a) Limit on owner investment, so clubs have to hire external analysts and must break even
b) Salary cap
c) Ban on bonuses being introduced once the season has started

Oh, and there's a limit of 4 non-Chinese players per squad. Beijing Guoan, who are the club linked with him, already have their four...
Club revenue is approx. £40 million per year. It's unsustainable for them to be signing Bale.

The thing is, if Madrid are desperate to get rid. Their price and demands will go down towards the end of the window. Hopefully Bale can get a settlement at Madrid, then lower his demands for the future club if it us.

However I cannot see us buying Ndomele, Ryan Sessegnon and Lo Celso plus Bale. Unless we sell a first teamer! I hope I am wrong.

If it's Eriksen going the other way, I'd say that's a good window for us.

Just a thought. If RM offloads Bale and his 600k a week, that frees up enough money for a 300k a week player and 15.6 mil a year of amortisation (clubs do that to spread the transfer fees). Sign a player for 5 years and that amortisation equals 78 mil.

300k a week and 78 milions might not get you Pogba, but it may get you Eriksen. Fingers crossed he signs a new contract.
