So many of the mods have posted in this thread over the last three days .... :peeking:

I jest - wonder how many of the elite are circling for him then?

So I guess that Bale refusing to go is stopping Madrid from buying Pogba. Time for our Daniel to step in and do some kind of swap deal involving Eriksen.

Unfortunately I think it's far more likely the swap deal is for Pogba.

If we were to sign Bale, on top of GLC and Ndombele, I mean, that's what titles are made of.

It's funny, because with the GLC deal looking likely, it's just that one extra special player which Bale is, who could be the difference for us, that's how close we are to really challenging!

Indeed. China thing sounds like Madrid's ideal scenario and what they are pushing for, but not Bale's.

yup, and now they can say "we found you a job where you can keep your wages. if you want to stay in Europe you may have to compromise"

Reported on Talksport that Bale has turned down a move to China.

The rumours now though are that Jiangsu Suning want to buy him & then subsequently loan him for a couple of seasons to Inter (same owners), to get around FFP regulations

Can’t see that being allowed at all.

You'd think not, but City have been doing it to some extent with Melbourne City and Girona.
I know its not to the same level, but if there's some way around it, you know they're going to try it

Im probably wrong but I cant see Bale going to China
1. He couldnt learn Spanish in over six years so has got no chance of learning Chinese
2. In Spain or England there are great golf courses they are few and far between in China and who would he play with?In Spain he could ship his mates and family over n two hours to spend the weekend with hima nd his kids cant do that in China
3. Massive climate and diet differences gets freezing cold in winter.
4. Not a great environment to bring up young children
5. The difference between 600000 and 1 million a week after tax is not the be all and end all as he doesnt need the money anyway.
6. Would be far better to stick two fingers up at ZZ and tell him that he will sit on his bum until RM compensate him to make it worth his while to join a club of his choice which I suspect will be in England .

1. It has become one of those things where enough people have said it, that now alot of people think it's true. Simply is not the case, a simple search will highlight that.

2. The chinese don't play golf? Well he can still ship his friends and family over, just for a mini break. Travel exhaustion isn't a thing when you fly everywhere first class.

3. What part? China is a hugely diverse country covering a huge geographic region.

4. Says who? Seems the odd billion in China might have something to say about that. Especially the more wealthy citizens.

5. A professional footballer has only a certain amount of years to maximise the money they earn. Maybe Gareth is taking a more pragmatic approach and earning as much as he can before he retires? He certainly has nothing to prove.

6. Working in a hostile environment like RM would be terrible for anyones mental health, especially when no one wants him there and the way they are treating him. If I was him, I'd want to get the fuck out as soon as possible.
