This still irks me - where has Bale demonstrated or said that? Like i've said previously, if i've missed something then please correct me, but as far as I can find he's not turned down anything other than RM's request to piss off and leave them alone.

No contract has been offered, he's not turned down anything at all and it sounds like it's RM preventing anyone from offering him a contract because they've priced him really high.

Silence is leading a lot of people to assume a lot of stuff.
Are we not assuming he’s going to China? Then that would be about wages? I would love him to rock up at Spurs on the same wages as Kane.

I lost all respect for Bale when he left us in the manner that he did. I’ve watched him at Madrid as I respected the sheer ability he has and what he has done for Madrid is immense. I’d have taken him back purely on football ability as he would have taken us to another level. The main pity is that a player of his ability should not be going to China at this stage in his career whatsoever.

Ndombele will have the Bale factor for us in the sense how he will make our club better. But even more so.
While Bale won games on his own Ndombele will bring everyone forward with him.
Bale created space for himself to win but Ndombele will open space for all of our players ahead of him.

Thats some deep stuff.

I agree, the golf nonsense also there's no evidence. Don't think he's ever missed training to be at golf etc. He's not the first footballer to enjoy a round. The one thing that irritates me about China is I feel like it's letting Madrid off the hook big time. They offered 6 year deal 600k and treated him like shit they should be made to pay. I know it's hard but I'd love to see him turning up to training every day with a shit eating grin until they had to pay 2/3 of his wages to get him out. China are letting them get away with their terrible decision making and subsequent actions.

Think about it.
If we gain space earlier moving up the field more fluidity will be created
It's the same effect as a counter where the ball is turned around when defences are not set.you see how we do with that,we are devastating

Think he'll go to China, he's won it all.

Hes on massive money with years left to go and he'll naturally want the same.
Big juicy 5 year deal earning 600k per week plus playing light footy and meeting up with Wales every so often for some actual competitive footy

That's exactly what I mean - we're all focusing on this wages thing and come to the conclusion that China would be most likely to offer him similar wages but that doesn't mean he'd sign because of the wages. He may be absolutely busting to come back to the Prem but Real have put themselves in a spot where they don't want to sell to a direct European rival cheap (which both us and United can arguably be considered), but unless they're prepared to accept a hit to the pocket on the transfer fee then they're going to be bitten on the arse by his wages.

Every club circling right now know that it's RM's decision - they either let him go cheap or they shell out his wages. If he's not got any realistic offers on the table with a week left in the window you watch the price come tumbling down.

The stance from most European clubs has been that he needs to take a wage cut or RM need to subsidise as If any club pays him 500k a week then every other player would want similar money, the problem United have had a with a crocked Sanchez. But it doesn’t look likes taking a wage cut if he goes to China? If he’s busting a gut to come back to the prem then who cares about money?

How can people keep saying he's won it all? He hasn't won it all. He's won the Champions League and a bunch of La Liga titles. To my mind that's not winning it all.

No European team is taking Bale at a similar level of financial outlay unless he compromises big time.

Why does he need to compromise? It’s R Madrid who need to subsidise as they want him out. His agent has played it brilliantly. Bale will want to play football, he has a mega contract with a club that wants him out. Pay him his dues and he will go and I think that is what will eventually happen.

I thought the Chinese government had changed their tax laws to dissuade huge salaries in order to promote homegrown talent.

I’m not entirely sure we need him. Son’s stats compare pretty favourably to Bale’s, and he’s not got the lightning pace he once had. I think he could still have a decent career for a few more years, maybe as a 10, but there are better deals out there.

Pretty good going though...
I don't disagree but La Liga isn't the be all and end all of everything where football's concerned. Bale's a Brit and to win it all he'd surely want to have a PL title under his belt as well given that the PL is where everything began for him?

After hearing Pochs comments after the Juve match, I've got a sneaky feeling he's coming home! We shall see
