most likely scenerio is he signs a loan deal with us for around $200K per week (no higher than Harry)
We pay a loan fee for the season to RM - no more than $5million (which goes back to Bale at another 100K pw)
RM pay him the remaining $300k
Next summer RM hope that a revived Bale can be persuaded to move to tottenham on a perm
I hope so - any hair style than that ridiculous man bun!

No but speculating on something that has been put on record as 100% no go seems a little pointless. But carry on.
Totally the stance to take when scaring Real to pay him off. “I’m going nowhere as I have a contract “

Weird argument???
What would you expect his agent to say "yes we are desperate any deal will do"
No. But he could say “Gareth would consider a loan but only under the right circumstances.” Or words to that effect.

Anyway. If it helps pass the time be my guest. All opinions, innit.

I agree entirely that Bale doesn't need the money and should focus on getting time on the pitch and playing football before it all comes to an end. However, RM and Zidane have been very disrespectful to him and he has every right to make them pay for that, and I'm sure they will. In his position he could easily take a massive pay cut but I doubt the people around him would sanction that since he's their cash cow. It would be rather refreshing if just once a person in Ble's position would say 'Actually, I have enough to last me 20 lifetimes and I could put something back into the game that gave me so much',but that would only happen in a parallel universe IMO.
the only one I can think of who did that was Beckham when he donated his salary during his time at PSG to charity. But even that was after many, many lucrative contracts with Man U, Real, and LA Galaxy.

I think @fletch82 was agreeing with you, bud.

Either way, at this point in the proceedings, so to speak, I wouldn’t expect Barnett to say anything other than ‘full transfer or nothing’ or words to that effect.

Contract-wise, they have Real over a barrel, and it would be unwise to concede anything at this point as it would weaken their hand while gaining nothing.

:sorry::LOL:

Oops. In my defence, I t’s my day off and I’ve not had my coffee yet.

It was only because he said it was 100% reported fact type thing.
Show me a honest agent and I'll show you my collection of diamond encrusted rocking horse shit :)

I'm on enforced days off ,its driving me mental and I have been up since 4.30 and have enough caffeine/nicotine inside me to sink a ship.
Going off my nut and to cap it off the England cricket team are looking like dog shit :cautious:

And I believe it was suggested that there were many tax benefits to Beckham for doing that at the time, so it wasn't all altruistic.

Taricco ripped up his West Ham contract when he got badly injured very early on.

Exteberria plays for free in his final season at Bilbao.

Harry Redknapp still believes to this day that had there been another 10-15 minutes we would have equalized.

With 10-15 more minutes Maicon and Zanetti would have collapsed in to quivering heaps and Inter would have utterly capitulated.
