I would absolutely love to get Bale back as reckon he would give us that extra guile and goal threat. WOU”D BE A real (no pun intended lol) statement of intent too.

With a Eriksen looking likely to leave he’d be great behind Kane in a more central role like he was under AVB.

Although would still look for another creative player as similar to a Eriksen as we can get so have options!

Do what it takes to get him. They type of game winning player that would have won that game for us today.

We need him with his experience, aura etc. Plus love for the club. Imagine him today, and the fear Liverpool would of had. He would bring us to another level. Anyone who thinks difference is respectfully bunkers.

Exactly. Just having his threat on the pitch would create space for others to exploit too

I don't think it's finacialy doable as much as we all want it.

I think we should go all out for Zaha, who would give us the next 6 years of his absolute prime.

Overall if we paid the transfer what palace want and the wages zaha wants, I bet there won’t be a huge gulf in the difference with bale finances

If there is love for the club then bringing him in is a priority at the right price.

Bale is due 70m in wages over the next 3 years. Unless Bale is a loan with Madrid paying about 60% of his wages I can't see it.

Loving the golf reference in a post about Bale.

Nice touch putting it in there. Have to say the idea of Gareth in this current squad gives me wood. He'd add a bit of iron to the team and we could really do with his drive, although I guess Levy and Perez are currently a fairway apart on financials. It'd take a fair bit of wedge, but it would stop me feeling teed off about tonight's result if we could get him. Right, that's several shit puns done, which is par for the course for me, but I'm starting to flag now, so I'm off to lay up somewhere.

Come home, Gareth. This is your club.

Zaha transfer fee alone will be over £80m, Real Madrid know they’re going to have to pay a lot of bales wages because no club will match jt

United could get near it over a 4 year contract.

But anyway, I'd love to see him back, let's see what happens.

He'll be lucky to get a squad number next season at Real the way it's going. He's not going anywhere until the last day of the window as he and Real play chicken. Real are getting shafted...it just remains to be seen how hard.
