Horrible club. I don’t get why players and coaches dream of playing for them. I get the professional aspect of earning a bag of cash, but it’s such a pit of vipers.

There are plenty of other big clubs that don’t treat their players and coaches like they do. Like if someone offered me a choice between Madrid and Bayern I’d be looking on eBay for some Lederhosen.

The same reason lawyers start off wanting to work for Allen and Overy or finance people to Ernst and Young or JP Morgan. Because of the prestige attached even though they are equally toxic, snake filled poisonous environments. When I was offered a job at Amazon in my field I snapped at the chance. After 12 months I realised, wow there a disproportionately high number of people here that would throw you under the bus to get ahead.
