We’re three points ahead of the equivalent fixtures last season and only 15% of the way along, including a disproportionate amount of matches against last season’s top 4 (33% already of total top 4 fixtures). Hardly the crisis being painted, is it?

if you do view the spread and wonder why I have the GD as -4 and not +8 it's because those 3 columns are in comparison to last season

I have added another table to the spreadsheet, it's a table to show the final table if every team in the top 6 teams matched every result for the rest of the season

If we can remain consistent with our form so far this season, we pick up 16 points from the next seven games. Easier said than done of course but playing like we did v Chelsea it can be done. 46 points from 20 would be exceptional going into 2019.

Agree, It's always nice to check this thread after a positive result, especially when you know it improves on the result from last year (y)

I might be getting a bit ahead of myself here, but 12 points from the remaining 4 december fixtures isn't impossible, which would see us enter the new year on a very respectable 48 points for 20 games. That would be title-winning form in a normal season. Everton away will obviously be the hardest points haul to emulate, and I'd take a draw there.

We don't do draws.
But in any case
Take a draw philosophy
only applies to current top six rivals.
And there's only five of them.

A haiku?

Statistically speaking we'll draw sooner or later. I'd be more than happy with 4 wins though ;)
