Good strong team selection and good strong performance by the team

Thought Harry Winks had a great game.

Seems to be improving each time he gets a run out.

Very good game from us & a world away from the horrible Gent & Liverpool performances. There was a certain fluency in our passing & intensity in how we pressed, as well as how we moved the that had been missing for the last few weeks.

Davies & Trippier were both solid & dependable; Winks put on a very assured display, as well as Eriksen. Vertonghen made a big difference just with his presence & its great to see him back. If we play in that manner on Thursday, then we ought to go through to the next round.

My only real gripe would be that the game should have been out of sight in the first half, but some poor decision making & the final pass meant we took longer than expected.

Hopefully this is the signal of a new run of good form.

Fulham and Gent are on a very similar level. On the train coming home I was listening to the Fulham fans saying Kane was average and only scored tap ins. They are in fact all prize bell ends.
