Good lad. Can't be easy at his age to come from Argentina to europe but at least he has a number of countrymen at the club so it should get easier over time.

As far as his playing ability goes, I think he's gonna be great. Plays a lot like Vertonghen so may well end up being his long term successor. Bright future ahead.

The times I've seen him he looks comfortable bringing the ball out of defence. I forgot how young he was, so yes, totally understand his comments regarding move from Argentina.

Of course Poch sees his ability first hand in training, but I thought he'd have a few more minutes under his belt by now.

That said, I suspect the club have it spot on, not putting too much pressure on the lad considering his age and bedding in factors. Shielding him somewhat from all the flack a poor performance can bring from the media.

Looks perfect for the 'Dier' role to me. DM who drops into CB when the wingbacks push up. Very good on the ball and can pick a pass. Really pleased with this signing.
