The video of how this will work is fascinating, I am slightly concerned about how well the grass will fare having to have a quite shallow rooting system, but I presume the engineers have thought about that already. We have always had one of the best pitches in the Premier League, I hope it will remain so in the new stadium.

Have just watched that video and thought it was amazing. I love the way the pitch will be raised slightly (it appears as though it will be to me anyway), in fact, I wonder how the levels of the first row of seats and the pitch are related to each other? Will it be like the pitch is raised up for a football match and that the artificial pitch is where we would expect the normal pitch level to be now or is it that the NFL pitch will be deeper in the bowl relative to the football pitch which will be at normal pitch to first row level?
