Was just about to post the same thing.First match at the Lane according to Wikipedia was a friendly vs. Notts County in 1899. That would be alright for the first match.
Since we're not playing at home on the first day of the season it will be Liverpool, 100%, im definitely not guessing.
For West Ham's first season at the London Stadium, their first home games were against Bournemouth, Watford, Southampton, Boro, Sunderland and Stoke to give them time to ensure security and safety measures were operating properly. Arsenal in December was the first 'big' match in the PL although they had played Chelsea in the League Cup. There were numerous problems which had to be resolved concerning the home fans in those opening games.
Surely, the PL will follow a similar policy when drawing up the opening games at the NWHL next season.
