Interesting thread on Europa. If you add on gate receipts I reckon we will make about £80m more than Arsenal with respective European runs.

The stadium sponsorship (or combination of multiple sponsorships) must be close to being resolved and announced. With CL football next year and our profile raised due to the CL final, I’m expecting a bumper deal that will massively improve our finances.

Couple of interesting bits gleaned of twitter our brand value has increased massively over the last year moving us into the top 10.
A recent study of naming rights values puts us 3rd on £17m a season the figure levy should be looking for.
Bayern are about to announce a tie up with Audi worth €83m a year. This isn’t a shirt deal basically just brand awareness. I wonder how similar it is to our deal with Audi ?

Not sure im buying that one tbh. Of course if ut reflect the previous year or 2 than maybe but id expect us to smash to the top of that list by a very long way once the figures are out after a full season at the new ground.

Edit- Sorry i misunderstood this as matchday revenue.....my bad.

Yup confused me at first. But it’s the estimated value of naming rights.

What do you make of the bayern on out of interest? It sounds ridiculously high imo and almost on par with city. 83m euros for a side sponsor essentially. Of course audi will get massive exposure from it but lets face it, everybody knows audi and what thet offer.....so why they throw 1b at bayern?

Insane if you ask me!

Audi own a minority stake in Bayern and have members on their board. Same goes for Adidas who also have a mega deal with them. Not dodgy at all. I’m sure UEFA will be right on it....

The other way too. Byern are owned partly by their members. The way german companies work they have workers on the board. Sure a few byern members will be on audi and addidas boards.

I'm not sure if I can fully articulate this, but I think this deal has something to do with the fiercely competitive nature of the world-renowned Germany car industry, and Bavarian culture.

If Audi can align themselves with a prestigious Bavarian brand in Bayern Munich, then it greatly enhances their reputation over regional competitors such as BMW (Bavarian Motor Works).

I think we’d get about another £15m next season for 4th in the new overseas package.
