£65m profit!!

:greedy:

Sale of Bale. We spent most of that and have signed a £50m deal to start construction of the new stadium.
Also I believe it might contain the £50m that Joe put in.

Will have to wait for the full financials to be released for it to be clear.

Now we can see that Levy and Joe Lewis, THFC Board of Directors have kept us on track for the new stadium build, (eg..mentioned in High Court £350m Bridging Facility in place as back up building finance) despite the best efforts of Archway Sheet Metal, and still have transfers for the summer window.

Posters from another spurs site have consistently made dissatisfied remarks / comments about Levy and ENIC, over last 18 mths. / 2 yrs. So will they acknowledge our financial well being? and make some more positive comments.. or indeed say they were wrong?.. don't hold your breath !

These are staggeringly good results. Not only the profit as % of turnover but the movement on the net debt from £55m to net cash of £3m, means the club is on a very sound footing. I know we are all frustrated by Levy sometimes, but his financial management is top drawer and he is putting us in position when the stadium is finished to one day challenge the top 4. At the moment we are probably punching at our weight or a little bit above, but hopefully one day we might move up a division.

Does this release include the seven we purchased with the Bale money?

Don't think so. So will not be that good. Will have to wait and see the full report next month.

Why they are so late this year is strange. Must be getting them in line for the end of the tax year I guess.

It should do as both Bales sale and Baldini's supermarket sweep were in that period. My guess is the 2014/15 figures will be pretty good as well but not as good due to the extra wages for the purchases.

Good results but puts to bed the notion that we don't have money to spend. We're now going to be making 60 million per season, no reason not to invest in players. The additional income is from the tv deal btw.

Idk if that's true because we have and will continue to move some higher earners out of the club.

Just a guess on my part, but we do have a large squad after the purchases in Aug 14 so that will I reckon feed through to the bottom line. Levy will no doubt look to move some of them on this summer and the likes of Capoue and Soldado will start to feel a cold wind blowing around their seat in the dressing room!.

Doesn't include the £50m contract for the building works etc... will be the results ending June last year I believe.

Ok but even with that included its a one time expense, while our financial results are unlikely to change much in 2015 (revenues and expenses should be about the same). So the 50 million you're talking about will be covered by our revenues from this year.

The full report is meant to come out in April. Till then we don't know.

Not sure what you are saying? With the new tv deal, we have had a boost in revenue. But we have wiped £50m off our debt and also agreed a £50m contract for the groundworks of the new stadium.

The best bit for me is the redevelopment of the Chigwell training ground, the proceeds of 60 homes being used to fund the building of the world's first purpose built school for kids with autism. Mr Levy, if you ever read this, I will never have a dig at you again, ever, that is undeniably fine work!!

It's Levy though. You know he'll be teaching them how to count cards ;)
