The media and even the FA have been sniping at Kane all this year.
World Cup match officials will read up about players and assume Kane and Alli are just dishonest cheats. We can hardly be surprised when come to this conclusion.

The media have ended any chance of either getting a penalty in this competition and worse they can be chopped down like Alli was, and there will not even be a free kick let alone card shown.

Fans here would much rather their club did well than country and Liverpool fans will take this further to actively destroy the reputation of England players in the hope of their team scraping into the CL places.
They're a small minded club, but you can sort of understand their childish antics.

But why would the English media echo their twisted views instead of condemning them?

So it's all Liverpool fan's fault. Ok.

Ummm..did no one else read the article?

Fifa is to analyse the failure of video technology to award Harry Kane two penalties in England’s opening World Cup win over Tunisia.

Amid outrage on social media about the lack of action taken when Ferjani Sassi and Yassine Meriah bundled Kane to the floor during the match in Volgograd, the game’s governing body confirmed it would examine whether Video Assistant Referee Sandro Ricci had blundered by not advising Wilmar Roldan to penalise them.

Nothing in the article suggested a "no comment", and I'm not sure how they knew that FIFA had confirmed they'd look into it if they'd not commented?

I watched the game again today. And I noticed for the rugby tackle pen when it came back off the bar. VAR was sited. But they didn’t show the correct angle. They showed from behind the goal. So it didn’t even show the tackle?

I find it amazing that refs are getting a tap on the shoulder from var and reviewing decisions yet the rugby tackle on hk was ignored by both parties, it’s even more bizarre considering it’s actually been working okay...
The most blatant pen of the whole tournament if you ask me.

If these two incidents where Kane was manhandled and wrestled to the ground were directly played alongside the incident where a Croatian player was also manhandled and wrestled to the ground against Nigeria in an almost identical way when it was also reviewed and a penalty was given in favour of Croatia to put them 2-0 up, it would show up these ridiculous decisions
for what they are.

I would love to see Fifa and all the VAR officials being forced to watch re-runs of all these played one after the other, and then try to justify why Croatia were awarded a penalty and England were denied two penalties. It's as clear as day that they were all penalties. If not and a higher burden of proof is required then none of them should be given.

Other than the teams being involved, I would urge anyone who hasn't seen these three incidents to watch them one after the other to see if they can differentiate them and claim one should be given and the other two should be refused.
