I think it's got to e Ginola v Leeds in the FA cup last 16.

It was a night game, a replay after we drew 1-1 at theirs, and the atmosphere was electric. We'd outplayed Leeds and were 1-0 up through an amazing Anderton goal, and Ginola had been destroying their defence all night but to no avail due to an exceptional Nigel Martyn.

Martyn had made two spectacular saves from Ginola, one of which he just tipped the shot onto the post after a great Ginola dribble from right to left. Even George Graham started celebrating prematurely.

Then, a ball was cleared out to the edge of the area. Ball still in the air, Ginola leapt off the ground and with the most amazing scissor kick scored an absolute screamer, ball hitting the back of the net before either it or Ginola had landed on earth again.

Bale against WestHam where he was fouled and got up and smashed it top corner. Plus the celebration with AVB.

Ahhhh mint.

Stood on the shelf that night, the ground was buzzing with amazement for quite a while after he treated us to this…….

Anyone not knowing how good he was, he did almost exactly the same thing against Forest shortly afterwards, IIRC the goalkeeper (Aleksic) drop kicked it, someone (Chris Jones?) headed it on, Gerry Armstrong won the next header and Hoddle volleyed it in. I'm pretty sure the ball didn't touch the ground from goalie to back of net…... :D

Along with all the others, I pretty much spent the majority of my tender years being indoctrinated into the church of Hod by my father sat in front of video cassettes that he'd spliced together of these goals.

Mine was Harry's headed winner at the Lane against Arsenal last year. A combination of it being my first ever ticket for a premier league NLD (after supporting for 30yrs) and it happening just as my wife was in the midst of some truly horrendous cancer treatment (all clear now it seems). I stood on my seat and screamed to the heavens, embarassing the hell out of my mates in the process!

I preferred his one very Barnsley. That memory always stands out for me when I think of Daveed

My favourite is probably Keane v Chelsea to me it 4-4.

There's so many great ones we've scored down the years though. I loved Eriksens 2nd at Sheffield United last season for what it meant.

Equally, Kaboul at the death star was monumental. Actually, VDV pen at the Lane that same season to make it 3-3 is one of my favourite as well for the pure ecstacy.

Defoe v City when we came from 1-0 down at the Lane under AVB was a great one too.

Bale v Norwich when he ran through from a ball by Modric and dinked it over the keeper.

Jesus is there any team that has scored the variety of goals we have down the years

This is too difficult a question to answer.

Impossible to say as there's so many but this one always sticks in my mind as a favourite, we were shit at the time, they were good, and this was a screamer.

This one wins it for me. I'm sure he ran half the length of the pitch before smacking it in.
