He was widely knows as a complete fucking bellend. Same thing in a lot of ways I suppose.

It's hard to imagine a presenter less well liked than Tim Lovejoy to be honest.

Also seems like an opportune moment to take a trip down memory lane, delve into the archives and remember this timeless classic:

Massive dick-move by Freeman but given that it was Tim Lovejoy being called out, I think we can all look past that and enjoy it.

Agreed but I really can’t stand Freeman.

A new Spurs fan revealed himself last night...! (In a manner of speaking).

Mark Nicholas, one of Sky's cricket commentators while commentating on the Windies v South Africa World Cup match, saw the South African player Bavuma sitting in the press box wearing a plain white Liverpool top and he said "As a Tottenham fan, I really don't need to see things like that".

Welcome to the fan base Mark! (y)

Someone has a problem with this post and he needs to explain why because I don't get it.

.

So you're saying that if someone is a Spurs fan, all other Spurs fans have to like them and support them regardless of anything else they do/say/believe in? For example, if Tommy Robinson was a Spurs fan, would you also say we should support him too?

I love to meet fellow Spurs fans etc. don't get me wrong, but being one doesn't exempt you from any criticism. There are plenty of Spurs fans who I think are absolute ****s, some of you probably think I'm a **** as well, and that's fine. I personally don't see being a fan of a football team as the same thing as being part of some weird masonic cult where we're duty bound to scratch each others backs all the time. If someone is a **** I'll call them out on it regardless of which football team they support ffs. Some things in life are more important.

Jesus H. Don't even get me started on that shit. I'm perfectly capable of banning myself from here without any help from a political debate about the far left!. :)

F**king hell, there are plenty of political threads on here - let's stay well clear. At the end of the day, if someone you like turns out to be a Spurs fan, great; if you think that they are a p**k (and politics being the way it is, fans will have an opinion if it's Jeremy Corbyn or Boris Johnson) then you just ignore it.

It's always a good idea to steer well clear of political debate. I've seen at first hand what it can do to genuinely decent people on these message boards.

I think that like anything, if one can't discuss without resorting to being rude or offensive then yeah, it's best not to go there.

In my experience, political debate often starts with the very best of intentions and with a good deal of conviviality but pretty soon they descend into personal attacks for expressing what some consider to be views contrary to their own. Invariably, this happens when people have no coherent arguments to offer for debate, and they have problems in admitting they were wrong, so the personal insults start, in an effort to divert the emphasis of the discussion.

Yeah, steer well clear.

I was pleasantly surprised recently to discover that Gregory Finnegan (of Hollyoaks fame, recently won Best Actor in the soap awards) is a spurs fan.
