However, I think there is little chance of a reconciliation. The fact that he is left out of the pre-season tour indicates he is no longer in Poch's plan. As such, though I personally would like Sissoko to be given more time, it may be best to use him as a make-weight to get a player that Poch likes, i.e. Barkley. In a way I do have some sympathy for Sissoko. I really don't feel his been that bad he came at the last minute to be fair he was never going to just turn it on with the way Pochettinho sets up, players not used to Pochettinho methods. it would take any player time ie Son Janssen N'koudou ...but because of the fee (again let's be fair here, had nothing to do with him) the spot light is upon him immediately.
Personally if he stayed at Spurs I still believe he'd be a decent squad player
Is this typical 'journo' mischief or possibly having a ring of truth?
There is no denying that there have been times when this guy looked really good.
Errrr, when was that exactly?

I agree with this totally but money is the issue. If he'd cost 8m and was on half the wages almost all of us would be calling for him to get more game time. At his price he's got to contribute, and while I also think some criticism is over done he's had long enough, cost enough and done too little. Everton were linked with him before maybe there's some sort of part exchange deal for Barkley we can do? Sadly he won't be valued at 30m in any deal.In a way I do have some sympathy for Sissoko.
