End of the English backbone?

To be honest as I said I'm not too fussed about the English players, even though it is nice to have them. However Ramos might just be what Jenas has needed. We all know Jenas can run all day, just for the last season and a half he looks like he has been running with little idea of why he is running. With someone like Ramos who is going to demand he closes down every ball, chases every lost cause etc. we may just see a new side to JJ. After all half of the players at Sevilla were rubbish before Ramos got hold of them and demanded better and improved their fitness and sharpness about 10 times.

Maybe JJ will finally discover some of the potential that is always talked about.

If Ramos can't bring out the potential in JJ, then no-one probably will. I think he might be the key to alot of our future success, a good central attacking midfield option to go with the probable 2 flyers down the wings which Ramos will probably instill.
