Once again, mature and considered words from the young man. Never mind captain, he's a future England manager. I particularly like the bit where he's sussed Germany's zonal marking, then has the confidence to tell a more experienced team-mate where to put the ball and executes his own plan perfectly.

I wonder how our lads celebrated? Must've had a section of the dressing room roped off and told security to let Kyle through.

The comments surrounding Dier versus Wilshere are comical. Looking at it objectively regardless of clubs, going into a tournament where you can only take a limited squad, a player who's been injured all year and can only play CM, or a player who's been bang on form all season, can play RB, CB and DM... No brainer.

My one concern is that Hodgeson selects his team at the Euros on merit, and form. I can just see Wheelchair, Milner and Rooney being selected ahead of our youngsters.

I mean he's picked Milner as Captain against the Dutch for fucks sake, some forward thinking that.

On this site at least I think we can say we ALL owe a huge debt to Poch. Some fans of other clubs might not be so happy but we have to be grateful we've got him.

The games are FRIENDLIES Gaz, and as such Roy H. can experiment a bit with his players. I'm not a huge fan of Milner either, but he does represent some maturity/experience on the team and always gives 110 per.cent and I have rarely seen him play a bad game for his country. In my mind he would be a solid Captain. Remember these games are to find out what we've got in the team squad.

You can't get 110% of anything, though my wife would disagree with that one. And if Woy doesn't know what he has in Milner then God help us come the Euros.

you cant tell anything from 45 mins in a friendly. Pick on club form, have your first 11 in mind, play them, let them get to know each other and England would do better.
