I'm just glad someone is speaking out because its a rigged system, cheating clubs that are trying to do things correctly.

She may well, but ministerial time isn't the problem, it's Parliamentary time. Safe standing has a chance because it probably doesn't need a change in the law, it could be done via statutory instrument. But something like this which would need Parliament to regulate is dead on arrival right now. The amount of stuff they've still got to push through which will vary depending on what deal if any we get is absolutely gigantic. And because they have a tiny majority in the Commons and nowhere close to one in the Lords a lot of it gets held up, sent back etc by opposition parties.

Doesn't mean they shouldn't talk about it. If clubs and supporters associations asked their local mp's to bring it up at least it would be on the agenda.

It may not be the most important thing in the world but neither is most of the crap discussed.

I said it once and I will say it again the revenue for this idea comes fromT.V. cash and if all the fans who do not support this five do not sign up to pay the T.V. companies there hard earned cash .Where will the revenue come from ? For myself even if spurs signed up for this greed is good league they will not get one penny of my cash .
The saddest thing of all is that if this idea was floated in a different era than the whole scene would be different .I grew up in the 1940s and 50s so have seen a lot of different great teams and other sides that were great alongside the winning teams only.
1950s wolves,sheffield weds
1960s Spurs.Burnley;Liecester
1970sderby Forest
1980s Forest ;everton
Then came the dominance of Liverpool and Manunt;Arsenal
The point I am trying to make is that it is so disrespectful to disregard these great teams from the past because they are the teams on top at this moment in time.
Not one media outlet has condemned the greed is good league as yet except to mention it in passing this is a sad time for football and could bring the whole lot tumbling down like a house made of playing cards

the only teams that would be relegated anyway would be the Dutch or Portuguese teams, but at the end of the day where do they get relegated too, if their associations won't accept them back

Chapter 2: The Secret 'Project Longbow'

A phony, multimillion-pound deal and behind-the-scenes lobbying: Before the introduction of the new Financial Fair Play rules, Manchester City did all it could to dodge spending regulations. The club insisted to UEFA it was innocent.

Why have no other clubs come out against Man City?

Nobody comes out of the revelations well: not Infantino, craven and crawling; not UEFA, willing to prosecute the minnows while the sharks swim free; not the clubs, led by Bayern Munich, who talked of leaving not only UEFA but FIFA itself in search of more money; not Javier Tebas, the president of La Liga, who has called for those guilty of “dirty tricks” to be punished, which would coincidentally help several of the teams in his competition; not the clubs or organizations who should be righteously angry at flagrant rule breaches but who have maintained the silence of the complicit

Would be very nice for us if those 5 English teams buggered off lol ??

It would be a disaster for us. All our financial plans are based on the idea that we'll be getting our share of the PL TV money. If the PL no longer contains the 5 biggest teams, then the global TV money for the PL will be a fraction of what it is now.

Not to mention losing our best players...we can't afford Harry Kanes £200kpw without the PL money.

Because right now they're just allegations, its not even known if UEFA can even do anything, because if the evidence was obtained illegally they cant do fuck all anyway.
