Also on Spurs' list is understood to be Borussia Monchengladbach's Denis Zakaria, who Spurs chief scout Steve Hitchen has continued to track since the Switzerland international's switch to Germany...

The player I want us most to sign, seemingly a long term target. There's not an emoticon for how hopeful I am about this, so it's prolly doomed.

Yeah, I think this guy is the closest we’ll get to N’Dombele, who I think we’ve missed the boat on.

We could do with him and Berge, what with MD and VW not looking like they’ll be here much longer.

I'd describe him as kind of Moussa Sissoko on a good day crossed with a fit Victor Wanyama for a Spursy comparison.

Good analogy Paolo, we've been watching but not good enough.
But will someone deemed "good enough" actually want to join us over others seems the (50) million dollar question. :cautious:(not actually asking)

Do they already play for Spurs -> yes -> perfect.
Do they already play for Spurs -> no -> are they attainable -> yes -> not good enough.
Do they already play for Spurs -> no -> are they attainable -> no -> wait for bigger clubs to do their business and hope they forget to pick him up and then lowball his club until they refuse to do business with us.

Shame, I rate him big time. Might be considered a wee bit raw, but we're not exactly shopping at the finished article table. Thought it might have legs because of playing less this year than his (very impressive) debut season.

The club doesn’t think anyone attainable is good enough. Anyone who is good enough costs too much. The arrogance is painful.

Its just too hard to bring in players, don't you get it?!

Meanwhile... Chelsea have 2 deals tied up for CM's, there would be third of the season and 4th in the last year.

If you are right they’ll soon have seven CMs who will be expecting to be regular starters for two possibly three positions. That will not make for a very happy group of CMs unless of course Kante is off to PSG ?

Throw enough money their way and they don't kick off. To think Danny Drinkwater was close to an England spot before he went there.

We need to bring him in, the possibilities for misspelling his name are endless!

It’s in the bag this one

Pretty sure there's a few fans who already have his name on a Spurs shirt, albeit accidentally.

I can't wait until we sign a Dafoe or Chumbonda and my 2007 kit collection comes back into play.

Or a Burmby( though would be a different year to yours)!
However those with no names on the back are on to something!
