To be honest, most sportsmen across the globe like to party from time to time; it's not that much of a big deal if it's done in moderation and at the correct times of the year.

Further to this, sportsmen (and women) are complete light-weights. I've known exceptionally talented amateur runners and gymnasts, and after 3 pints they're in the gutter and feel rough as the next day.

As long as Dele (i) isn't doing a Lloris and (ii) gets his form back I'm not bothered.

The Sun is sickening. I mean, few days ago, many Hong Kong people and youngsters risked their life and future to occupy the Parliament. Many front pages of UK newspaper were reporting this historical protest. Then, the Sun thinks that dele drunk in the holiday is equally worthwhile to be a front page news. I know the Sun is shite, but I also feel sick as a Hong Kong people.

We all hate and detest the Sun for which it stands. The unfortunate thing is there are so many who would rather know about the inebriated habits of Deli Ali than give a damn about what is going on in Hong Kong, so will always buy the sun.

i don't care about being banned from there but i don't see why the transfer forum can't have their own player threads rather than take the ones from here. i wanted to discuss one of foyth's recent performances for argentina only to find it's been moved, presumably because of some tenuous bs link that won't come to anything.

Very tough for you guys...life bans ,it just seems OTT to me . 1 or 2 windows yes , but for life ! So harsh... It can lead to the permanent departure of good posters . I don't understand it .

There is not a single top sportsman that’s reached the absolute pinnacle that isn’t 100% dedicated and made msssive sacrifices. That’s the difference between the very very best and the also rans. Completely up to Dele what choice he makes. It’s why Rooney never got to Ronaldo messi levels.

Young guy has a few beers on holiday no big deal. He wasn't hurting or being offensive to anyone. That said he really needs to up his game next season; either become a goal scoring/assist machine and be less effective further back or become a more rounded CM/AM.
