Alli being able to be one of the best players on the pitch as a 6 shows what a talent he is. When Winks is back, Alli will probably be allowed to move higher up the pitch, and then we suddenly have three players in Kane, Alli and Eriksen all capable of picking the last pass as well as making aggressive runs into the box.

Last night was one of those games where you see Dele's real quality. Not the headline goal, trick or outrageous moment. But the glue he offers to our transitions, the effortless flair and movement around the pitch. You see how much better we move the ball in the oppositions half, and in and around the final third, when he plays. That's because he's always available for the ball, he's always looking to pass, but also able to ghost past a player or two if he's in a tight spot. He can also indulge in a flick or dummy that can catch others out. And he can win the ball, with a combination of his athletiscm and tenacity.

I mentioned in the Winks thread, that I'd like to see the two try swapping positions. I very much liked Dele in that pivot role, I think his attributes can be very effective there. Indeed, he played alongside Dier in that position a few seasons back.

There something of the Gullit's about him.

Let's get behind dele. Sing his song and support him way more. We need him now. The neutrals on the sunday supplement said that the "WE'VE GOT DELE" song at the lane was deafening when its rolling round the new lane. We need him now. Let's do it.

I’m hoping that’s just a precaution before a scan. No idea what he did but looked like wrist or hand. So worst case hopefully one of those light weight casts. At least he’s smiling.

Dele is probably our most complete player with the ability to play in so many different roles. He is such an intelligent player who we must keep for the future. I think in years to come he could become one of the best playmakers around

He challenged Ederson for an airial ball and it looked like he landed awkwardly on the wrist\hand.
