That is if he remembers where he left it. been a while.
It's too late. Wayyyy too late. It's not like the days when we were mid-table and shit enough that we could sign a player who'd improve us on quality alone. Only a few top-class players could do that now, and they won't be signing in January not to mention would cost a fortune and demand a permanent first-team spot. We need to make the squad up with hungry and talented youngsters, all of whom will take time to settle in - often a year or so. We have to plan in advance, not react to an injury crisis that's borne from so many of our players having so much game time in recent years that it was eventually inevitable and always likely to domino. Now we've got ourselves in that hole there isn't a magic get-out button we can press. We have to rely on backups and youths, even though that will likely see us drop league points and potentially lose out on a cup.Early March
Absolutely must sign someone in Jan now.
The same thing could be said in the next TW and the next and the next as it was said in the previous TWs.It's too late. Wayyyy too late. Yes, because we need long-term signings. It's been a long time since anybody has come into the squad and made a big impact straight away. So sure, sign players if we had targets in mind anyway, but there's very little point signing an AM to cover for the fact Dele's injured specifically. The same thing could be said in the next TW and the next and the next as it was said in the previous TWs.
what has our team achieved that we can't improve it. Some people here are unbelievable with their logic even danny boy can't come up with this shit.
Since joining us, Dele has played 50 games a year for us and another 10 for England. And that's despite the fact that he's had injuries and suspensions - he's played practically every match he's been available for in the last three and a half years. It's not surprising he's fucked now, that's a pretty criminal lack of rotation. This is brutal. Worse injury crisis we've had since Poch arrived I reckon
If there's an attacker out there who we're considering for either now or the summer, surely we need to prioritise for now.
This is a savage
Just waiting for the club to announce Wembley for the rest of the season to top it all off.
Fuck this
See you all in August
Why didn't we make this long term signing in last summer or winter. Why can't we make it now. What is the right time to make it?Yes, because we need long-term signings.
