Rewatched his run for that first goal and I think its his arm making him run slow.
He doesnt look like he's swinging it properly with that cast on.
Hopefully that'll be off by the time of the final.

So it’s not his injury that’s causing him to be crap in the other games? ?

He was quality tonight, he’s much better playing off a front man for sure

Like I said in the match thread, I take full responsibility for his performance. Had a picture with him on Saturday evening #I'mnotDrake

When we're dominant and pushing teams to the limits he's that X factor player.
When we're struggling and needing someone on the periphary to grab the game by the scruff of the neck he's lacking.
I love him but in our evolution as a team he flips between a luxury and class.

Alli is a flower you just have to let him grow, sometime the things he tries they don't work but most of the times it does....he has the stats too to back it.

I couldn't agree with your more, that's a great analogy. Our squad has been laid bare for the last few months and he's not the ideal player in this situation but he can unlock the best and for that reason he's invaluable to any tezm

Luxury? It’s the bad players who are luxuries.

I personally thought first half his driving forward and imagination was the only thing that caused Ajax problems.

All of the lads I watched the game with massively rated Dele’s first half performance too. Absolutely baffled by how anyone could say he was shit. His movement was causing them so many problems, we just couldn’t capitalise at that stage.

My God that final pass was immense. He looked like a dead man walking but once Llorente came on and Poch took the defensive reins off him he stepped up big time. He's so good at finding pockets of space in attack, possibly one of the best I've ever witnessed I really hope Winks is back fit for the final so he can be more free.

I have been critical of Dele for most of the season, but he was a million times better tonight and his ball for the winner was sublime. Well done Dele!

Incredible mentality. Incredible footballer. One of the best this club has seen in a long time, and yet we still have absolute morons wanting him sold.

Will be huge in the final.

He was class last night. Granted things don't always come off for him but he see's and does things others can't and he's a joy to watch when it's working
