Please god no. I wholeheartedly agreed with the author's sentiment on this one...anyone but Moyes!

Hmm, our current total is 8 managers in 10 years isn't it? Levy could be going for 10 in 10. Okay, I'll take Moyes on the basis that it's 10 in 10. Number 10 will the The One!
He did an excellent job at Everton.... but they needed an Martinez to take them to the next level (with the help of 2 key loanees though, so let's see how next season turns out for them).
Was it really such an excellent job at Everton though?
The limited budget is over stated. Did you not notice Fellaini cost £15m -that was the same as our record transfer until last summer. With a limited budget he made Everton into solid top club (not a top-4 club I know); a club on Spurs' level with less of a budget.
There is a good reason why ManU and Fergie wanted him as their new manager. But then again his ego seem to have gotten in his way when he sacked the whole ManU coaching staff, to make his mark as the boss.
United didn't pick him for his ability. The picked him because he would stay long term.
I admire your certainty but every major bookmaker has him as second favourite. I suspect he is a serious back up if stronger preferences fall through.it's a lousy, 2 dimensional article. In reality, the future for David Moyes is probably fairly predictable. He'll find a PL club with modest expectations or an ambitious Championship club, where he can expect to be given 2 - 3 years to build a team in his own image, with a limited transfer budget, and he'll probably make a pretty good job of it.
It won't be at Spurs, but there are plenty of other clubs that would have him.

They had more money generally to spend than the 13 teams below them year I year.
