Would love this to be true but Paul Jiggins is down there with the worst when it comes to indiscriminate lying.
Fraser would also be a good shout, last year of his contract and is a tidy player. Would contribute to our goals and assists over a season and he would be the perfect cover for any of Eriksen/Dele/Moura/Son.
Not my cup of tea tbh looking at his stats you can’t argue but looking at his stature and build and speed he’ll be found out imo
Have to agree, I think Fraser would be very much a fringe player for us. Brooks, Lo Celso is what we needNot my cup of tea tbh looking at his stats you can’t argue but looking at his stature and build and speed he’ll be found out imo
Brooks + Lo Celso leaves Dele in a bit of a quandry.Have to agree, I think Fraser would be very much a fringe player for us. Brooks, Lo Celso is what we need
Brooks + Lo Celso leaves Dele in a bit of a quandry.
Not really. I think both would be great signings, but Dele is better than Brooks and only a year older than him, while Lo Celso is a different type of player. All would be great to have in the squad though.Brooks + Lo Celso leaves Dele in a bit of a quandry.

When I wrote that I was assuming Brooks would start in AM 10 role - as would Lo Celso - since discovered from the video above he's more a Right Winger. Didn't realise. When did having too many quality players in a squad became a problem ?
If someone excels and takes your position in starting eleven, then you'll have to get your head down, work your arse off and show the manager he was wrong.
So many times I read "but what will happen to insert name if we sign insert name"
Two minutes later, lo and behold, people are complaining about squad depth and the lack of quality.
We need to get the best we can get for every position in the starting eleven, followed by either an equal talent or the next best to fill the squad in order to rotate and compete for said position.
You only have to look at this past season to see how injuries can hamper a team's ability to rotate and rest players.
We need as good a quality as we can get right through the squad, and I'm sure there'll be enough minutes for everyone to feel their wanted and needed.
COYS!

Lamela's future is probably most at risk.Brooks + Lo Celso leaves Dele in a bit of a quandry.
I think if Lo Celso comes, Lamela will stay.Lamela's future is probably most at risk.
We only have so much room in the squad though, especially for overseas players. I just hope it's not Eriksen who leaves.I think if Lo Celso comes, Lamela will stay.

I’m not sure squads are assembled on the principals of being best friendsI think if Lo Celso comes, Lamela will stay.
