Massive fan of Brooks. Him or Grealish and I'd be well happy.

Wilson to replace Llorente would be unbelievable business as well.

Both would dramatically improve our depth options. Wilson is so good but his legs are basically held together by duct tape and prayers.

Pretty sure that Jiggins is a crap merchant though. Loves him a Carroll to Spurs tale. So I wouldn't expect much to come from this.

80 million for them is a bit steep. I would think 60 million is about right.

We're not getting Brooks for 40. Bournemouth have signed him to a long-term contract IIRC. They have no incentive to sell him now unless someone offers crazy money.

All of this just underscores how Leicester managed to get Maddison for scraps (in today’s market for English players).

Brooks would be a great signing. I'm not sure about Wilson who has a lot of trouble scoring against packed defenses which is why his record last season was far, far better away than at home.

Didn't he sign an extension just a few months ago? I would imagine Bournemouth hold a lot of leverage on this one--He would be an excellent signing though, has been very impressive.

Lol £40m is crazy money.

Yep. I like him as a player a lot but he’s had one season in the PL. £30 million is probably still too much.

This is why we should go for that Clarke guy at Leeds (and why I hope the club have learnt from not getting Brooks last summer) for £10 million. It’s because as soon as they do well and have a run of premier league games their values go stupid.

Yet another player I'd not be adverse to us signing.

Of course the media will be well aware that Poch is expecting Levy to spend some decent wedge this summer...

But, it sure does feel good that we seem to be linked to apparent better quality players of late.

Here's hoping we can get a few over the line. (y)

As for Brooks, if we are indeed looking for a few younger players, he should most definitely be considered. Looks quality.

Not an extension, but improved terms. He has 3 years left on his current deal. (2022)

If we could taper payments based on performance and bonuses then it's a deal worth looking into.

He was immense for Bournemouth this season especially before his ankle injury. Would love to sign him if we can't get Grealish.

Brooks would be a fantastic signing funnily I prefer King to Wilson. Ideally Grealish added to the least but it’s looking very unlikely seeing Villa’s progress

I think Brooks would be a perfect signing!
My brother is a life long Bournemouth supporter so I end up watching all their games.
And Brooks looks like a real player!

Fraser would also be a good shout, last year of his contract and is a tidy player. Would contribute to our goals and assists over a season and he would be the perfect cover for any of Eriksen/Dele/Moura/Son.
