Love Darren Bents interviews......:)

On an aside, although not much given to him today, took his goal very well today and worked hard - just such a huge distance between him and the midfield especially in the first half. Appreciate it was against a strong team, but hopefully with a bit more support from his fellow team-mates, Benty will keep notching.

In the first half, I lost count of how many headers he won, only to find no other Spurs player within 20 feet of him.

No not really funny and someone has already reported this post. If you had no idea why, in a rush of testostorone, you posted such a non-funny, why didn't you delete it? As it is, the mods have you on the radar now.

Must admit i felt a bit sorry for him when he headed the ball on, turned and sprinted to try to make his own flick. A tad bit isolated

He's the new Defoe.
He used to start every sentance with 'yeah definetly'.
Most footballers seem to have words or phrases they use all the time.
Its either a massive inside joke amongst players or they just get nervous....

and the most pointless poster of the year award goes too :stupid:

Someone get this knucklehead taken away by those in the white coats.
(Cant quote his pathetic post because it has been edited)

Bent was very isolated, but showed when he has a chance he can put it away.

Was pleased with his effort today. Finished well, run his socks off. He isnt quite suited to this role, his build up play isnt ideal, and once we get someone alongside him I think we will see much more from him.

But his job today was to grab the few chances he got. One effort blocked, one scored. Job well done.

shame he was having to flick the ball on to him self all day(which is not easy) will be nice to see a partner up there with him..

he worked really hard, I've said it for a while Jol's tottenham never suited him, it relied alot on the ball into the feet of the forwards and them make the magic happen, as our midfield was pants creatively.

Now we are relying more on delivery from the midfield, and when DB has to come wide he seems to have had a ood game today holding it up and laying it off, but then there was no-one in the box to cross to.

I think when Pavlyuchenko comes in or whoever he will do better, hes n suited to the lone striker at all.

Hopefully yhis performance should shut some people up, he has always given 100%

but one note is he really should be up the pitch ready for the counter from corners! nice airshot!

ALso so glad Gunther FINALLY got his chance, and Zokora moved the CM where he did really good.
