Imagine if in Arsenal's big week where they sign a player who's going straight back on loan and borrow a player that wants to go back to Madrid next summer, we:

A) Sign Ryan Sessegnon for £20m
B) Sign Giovan Lo Celso for £50m+
C) Sign Eriksen to a new 4 year deal.

It all hinges on the option to buy. According to ITK we walked away because Real wouldn't include an option to buy whereas Arsenal are so desperate they accept a season only loan

Not just this but the player has basically refused any buy option because he wants to go back to Madrid next year.
