So proud watching that. Some will criticize, but fuck it, we came to fight. Can't back every incident, but Chelsea was just as we were. Proud we were willing to put it up to them. It was the culmination of the team spirit and belief we had built to that point, and a spark that has pushed us to the point we are at not. Hopefully, it will be the point at which we refused to be pushed around and go on to win the league!

I want our team to fight but not to be stupid. Walker kick on Pedro, Lamela stepping on Fabregas or Dembele finger was just stupid. It doesn't make me proud at all. Better response to conceding second goal would be scoring third, not acting like this. But I think this team needed game like this to grow up.

ANTONIO CONTE is cracking the whip with his Chelsea stars to stop their season falling apart.

The Italian workaholic has turned the Premier League leaders’ posh Surrey training ground into a boot camp this week to ‘refocus’ on the faltering quest for the double.

So, a change in routine 48 hours before their biggest game of the season. Not great. Even allowing that some of this is Sun-embellished bullshit, one cannot escape the impression that they're rattled. Add in the illness the squad was struck by last week, Cahill maybe being out, Costa's China distraction shenanigans...perhaps the stars are aligning.

SSN reporting that Cahill has been in hospital with an illness for two days this week. It seems it is the illness that affected Marcos Alonzo last week.

I love watching this, Dier's tackle on Hazard (5:04) is pure and utter poetry in motion.

For those that dislike this and I can see why for reasons of players keeping control to win out in difficult situations, you have to also see that this game also was a turning point for this club. It was a day when we sent a message out to other top clubs that we were the real deal now and can handle ourselves. No more getting bullied. We had arrived!

I was so frustrated watching this match but also felt a lot of pride in the players for finally standing up for themselves and the club after an eternity of being pushed down.

6:56 you can see Mason say to Hazard "fuck off you little ****"

Lad, lad, lad, lad, lad, lad!!!!

It's ridiculous how Clattenburg is walking towards the pair of them and is about five feet away looking right at them when Hazard scratches Mason's face, yet does absolutely fuck all about it.

I am literally dribbling anxiety and excitement right now; a bit like a Tory MP in a Soho brothel with a tabloid reporter prowling outside. It can either go tits out or tits up

I hate watching this.

How many things did Chelsea players get away with in that game? Players pushing, putting heads in, shouting at the ref, crowding and jumping in all the time. Clattenburg never had any control of the game, sent Spurs players away constantly but let Cahill, Terry, plus others stay and influence decisions all the way through.

Second, why do people put those bars on videos!?

Yeah, because it's not like Dier should have been sent off several times over...

Just as ridiculous that we finished with 11 men...swings and roundabouts.

After the job Mourinho did on Hazard with Herrera denying him any space to receive the ball should we employ something similar with Dier / Wanyama ?

The highlight of that Chelsea match for me, and one which summed up the attitude Spurs need when playing them, was Walker's snot-flick at Costa.

Planet of the Apes is your typical act-tough-but-fall-over-like-a-pussy player. If he's going to roll about like that, when he acts hard no-one gives a shit.

Blow + flick. Good man, Kyle (y)

Getting nervous already! Was enjoying these last few weeks where we had a set of fixtures where I was thinking 'how much would we win by' rather than if we were going to actually win.

Suspect the rest of the season is going to be a lot less comfortable.

COYS!!!

I remember watching an interview Jenas did a couple of years ago on Lasagne-gate and he said listening to West Ham's players celebrating in the dressing room just for stopping us finishing in the CL places was the first time the players were truly aware of how much they hate us. He said that every time they played them, they used that as motivation. We had a great record against them for several years after that.

I think last year's battle of the bridge was a similar turning point in our dressing room in regards to Chelsea. Dele said recently that the players felt they 'owed them one' when we played them at WHL. Stopping their winning run meant more to us than just 3 points.

Lets hope they can continue to channel that because I had long previously felt we had a really dire record against them because we not only didn't match their quality but also desire. They hated us and our players didn't really get it.

It's a weird issue we have at spurs. Usually when a new player joins, the players will tell them 'this club hates such and such' but with us, we have to tell them about THREE clubs.
